Jhensley209
I just bought this sub and it's in a 4 cu ft box tuned to 32hz and I'm running an audiopipe 1800 on stock electrical. I'm going to be upgrading to 1/0 power wire and big three. I read that these subs need to break in. Does anyone have any tips or advice about how to properly do this? MADVIBES
if you have a smart phone download a tone generator app and play the subs free air at 20hz for 10 minutes about a decent stroke, dont cook em or anything or make them make funny sounds you will be good to go, I say take them out of the box just so you can free air em with out the box making the whole neighborhood hate your face! Jhensley209
I'll try that. Its in the box now but I gotta pull it out to finish the box up. I heard it could take weeks or even months to break in
MADVIBES
it can take months to break in but thats if you are using nomex spiders. Remeber this, subs will wear a little funny if you face them up or down over time. A sub will last longer sideways.
