Zbak Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 I have a ported sub box, 2 subs, two of the wires attached to the terminal cap (inside of box only) have tired to dust and fallen off completely? what is the cause of this how can it be prevented? Btw the car is kept outside on Ohio weather and I think the cause of it is the cold weather and then me playing it causes it to warm, creatin condisation
BassNewb Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Is it OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) or CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) wire? CCA is much more prone to oxidation and degradation.
