Depends what you like. I like the low distortion true sound of the X drivers but the 4 Sa 10s would get down and sound good too... Why 4 10s vs 2 10s? Why not 4 Sa 10s vs 2 X 12s. Cuz then I'd take two 12s

I've had a crossfire 8k on 4 Sa 18s at 1ohm. They handled the power fine and when I took them out and sold them the coils were shinny like new. They will take clean power.

Not a lot of power. Strapped at 2ohm each amp gunna rise and not make a lot of power... You need to strap at 1ohm for then amps to make some power... From my testing two CF 8ks at 1ohm EACH was same DB as 1 cf 8k at .5ohm because the damn rise. Why have double the money tied up into two amps when you can wire 1amp low and get same results Edit just seen u have two lvl6 18s... A DC 7.5k on each woofer at 1ohm would hammer them things lol

Lol the zv4 v2 is already rated at 2k... So the zv5 will prly be rated for alittle more I would think. Could be wrong

Take a picture of the woofer and the leads... If it has standard XL leads on it Jacob himself said he has never seen a pair of burnt XL leads. My guess is clipped to death and burnt coil. Try n take a pic of coil

Do you know how 4th order bandpass works? 40 is very low he still will be able to play into the 20's Op unfortunately with tuning low you'll loose the high end freq.. It's kind of pick what you want.. Yea I know how 4th orders work. Do u know? Cuz most are tuned from 43-48hz depending on the sealed side res freq. stock X woofers love 20-40hz... They will still play above that fine but they really shine down low. If he's trying to play music 40hz + daily then he prly doesn't want X woofers.

X series are really linear woofers the excel on 20-40hz very well, low distortion. If your looking to play 40-60hz I'd go X with standard cone and surround for that tradional sound you would be looking for... I've actually had 4 Sa 18s in a cpillar wall in my Tahoe on a crossfire 8k and I was tuned to 30hz but it hammered in the 30-40hz range

40hz+ for daily.. Wowwzers that's high. Good luck. I would NOT USE X woofers if your going to run that high.

That Xs power 16v lithium looks tiny compared to the Juicebox 16v lithium... The Juicebox is 120ah and $1500. Charges 16.8v and under. How many ah is this Xs power battery and what's the cost?

Two lvl4 should do nicely on that opti 2k... I've ran 4 dc lvl4 m1s on a dc 7.5k years ago. Great sounding setup and that dc amp ran ice cold. One of my favourite amps I got to use.

Yes that tells me you don't know car audio, I owned lots of 4ch amps and this opti 250x4 is the best so far.. The only downfall is the size. It's like almost 3ft long so if space is an issue,it's not the amp for you, but if u want a powerful clean amp this is the amp you want.Gotcha, I will alter my opinion to match yours from now on. This website is funny. People don't know what they talking about. Drop in comparison the Lanzar blew the dc 175.4 out the water. We arnt talking flea market lanzar. Here's a gut shot. Here's the dc gut shot

Lanzar opti amps are great! I've been running my opti 250x4 for over 3years with no problems... It's louder and sounds clearer then my dc 175.4 and my Rockford 800.4...
