Ported Enclosure - Fabrication

i need a slot ported box design, tuned to 30hz. now i'm running with an passive radiator box ,but its old and damaged..

my sub:

the box is to an hatchback one of the sides cannot be more than 12" or 13" of length, because my car's trunk is to tight ( 30~35cm, or 12~13" height)

can someone help me? bassbox pro dont help me too much doing slot ported box's..

Either that sub does not like ported boxes or Bass Box Pro doesn't like it at all. I played with it for a couple minutes and came up with:

H 12

W 29

d 18.5

Port: 2"x10.5"x23" (shortest port that looked decent on the graph)

Looks like it will sound ok without being too peaky. Doesn't have as good a bump on the graph as I like to see but it should play music very well. Also It is tuned to 32.5 not 30, sorry didn't remember to change that value until I was done. 30 is a little low for a single 12 anyway, IMO wouldn't get the benefit of using a smaller woofer for the mid bass punch. If you want 30hz tuned box you should try a 15 or 18" woofer.

thanks for the design! this sub is a sq sub... this is a 784.5 US$ sub..so it have to be something good

but even so it can beat very well for spl( for me..) is a spql sub
