3oh2Bass Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 So I'm a little confused. I'm not quite sure how to ACTUALLY put aero ports in the box once they're made. Both of the ends of the aeroport are flared and I'm not sure how to go about fitting the port into the box itself once its made. Bayuk89 Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 When using double flared aero ports its usually two pieces joined together. Or you can flare oneside then slip it through the hole and then flare the other side.

Bayuk89 Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 I have two 6" aero ports in my box for my 15's and they arent flared and i dont notice any port noise. Some flare both ends, some only flare the outside. Usually people flare aero ports to decrease port noise.
