everybodyknowme Posted April 2, 2016 Report Share Posted April 2, 2016 I was running 2k on a factory alt and it showed signs of going bad before it died. My regulator was going up and down while driving, idle, etc. It lasted about a couple weeks like that before it went out. Silly me I tried to push it another week and got stranded. I tried that ebay stuff and local rewound units before and they were all crap. I called mechman the next day. Cant go wrong with them. Bad part about it I had to spend more doe to get another factory alt to ride while mechman unit was being built. Moral of this story, you know your overworking your alt.
