Floyd341 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Report Posted April 2, 2016 Box is SOLID, very well made. This is an older Truck and as HARD as these 2 subs hit its flexing the back window, door panels are rattling, back panel behind seats are putting off ALOT of vibration. I set Gain, and SW level at lowest, turned radio all the way up and adjusted from there. It sounds AMAZING. I'm gonna go the cheap sound deadening route to get rid of some of the vibration, and mark it up as done. I don't think there is much more to be done after that being a Classic single cab truck. I just hope it don't end up pushing the back window out. I'm very happy with the setup. I need a serious set of components to match this system.
Floyd341 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Report Posted April 2, 2016 I have LPF set at 120. Gain set at -5 SW Level set at -4 Bass Boost off
bassinyerface Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 Try lpf a little lower like 80 or even 60 hz, if you have a hpf for the speakers turn that to the same or somewhere around 100 to 120 hz. Loud should be off, if you have an SLA option that should be at 0 amdgo easy on eqing. Make sure bass boost is off on headunit and amps. 2003 f150, 2 ab hd 15 on brutus 2400.1, kinetik batt, big 3, knu wire, image dynamics cxs 6.5 with ppi tweets, pioneer 1din and clarion eq.
