Triticum Agricolam Posted April 17, 2016 Report Posted April 17, 2016 That helps, but its still not really enough. I just thought of something else too, the SA-8 has a mounting depth of 6 5/8". There is no way to make a box deep enough to mount the sub, unless you used spacer rings to make the sub stick out the front of the box, but then you still won't have a room for a port. If you can't make the box bigger you may just be out of luck. Noah Lee Posted April 17, 2016 Author Report Posted April 17, 2016 sadly not as would hit the back of the seats. ive been looking at rockford fosgate 8" subwoofers as they have a mounting depth of 4.76" but cant decide which would be better a single dual 4ohm or single dual 2ohm
Triticum Agricolam Posted April 17, 2016 Report Posted April 17, 2016 What amp do you have? Dual 4 ohm will let you wire to 2 ohms of 8. Dual 2 ohm will let you wire to 1 ohm or 4.
