Bayuk89 Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 *Factory 136 amp ALT *standard 750 CCA battery *Big three, amp power and ground all 2 gauge royal excelence welding cable. *kenwood exceleon X399 HU *SHCA 12ga sub wire *rockville M4 "1500 watt" amp *rockford fosgate Prime 6x9's *(2) D4 SA-18's *Box is 56x22x22 10.5 cubes net 127" of port tuned to 32.5 hz I will be the first to admit the box is NOT the prettiest and if i took more time on it, it would look better... Stock 750CCA battery and 136 amp ALT are just adequate to keep me above 13.5 volts on hard hits, have a second battery to install in my truck tool box when i upgrade my power and grounds to 1/0 *2ga welding cable is adequate for the 1500 watt amp* Plan on ugrading to a 2k amp at some point along with an amp for my 6x9 FR door speakers... Only carpeted the top portion of the box and pained the rest of the box gloss black and the port gloss white... Might rebuild next year who knows but this is what i have so far....
Bayuk89 Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 Should have built box to 10 cubes net with 120 in of port but i made some wrong cuts and box came out a lil bigger than originally planned.... should have double baffled.... prolly should have carpeted the whole box..... ahh o well this plays good for nw till i build a new one. I will be more patient and do it correct the second time... Prolly wont meter on this set up untill i upgrade my electrical, sub amp and add a front stage amp.
