Ok so im leaving for vacation in 10 hours not enough time to go back to the place i bought the speakers and get it exchanged so heres my issue.

I bought 4 12 Pioneer champions with the 4ohm dual voice coil. To get a final .5ohm at my amp. Problem is that 1 of the 4 is actually a single voice coil 4ohm and i didnt realise it yesterday when the shop was installing it. Never going there again. But is there anyway i can wire these to get the same ohm load on all 4 speakers? As it is right now i have 3 playing at full volume and 1 playing at half volume due to the ohm load. And to my understanding with a dual voice coil speaker you have to wire up both either in series or parallel so im at a loss on how to wire this so its all the same just for a temporary fix. I will be replacing that speaker with the correct one after vacation

No, there is no way to wire those so they all get equal power. You could use a single coil on the DVC subs but that significantly changes their T/S parameters, so it's not a good solution.

Yeah thats exactly what i was thinking.... And if i only use 1 coil on the dvc it will cut the power handling in half aswell due to all that heat on just 1 coil. Which is deffinitly not good seeing as the amp i have is already 2x more then the rated rms for all 4. Guess ill just have to deal with it thanks.
