Deeznutz Posted May 16, 2016 Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 Ok so last year I tested the Rockford Fosgate RFX-8140 using SMD's CC-1 track 12 50hz test tone. I was only getting 4.3V. This time I tested the same unit with the SMD DD-1 track 1 40hz -0db test tone and I'm getting a much higher reading. 8.27V at full tilt. I'm only getting a momentary blip of distortion from 34 through 37 38 volume being the max volume. ***Please school me as to why I'm getting such a variance between the CC-1 disc and the DD-1 disc. The CC-1 is 1/6 octave. I can't find the DD-1 manual to tell me how the DD-1 disc was recorded. -Frank Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
