Ok.. so with the dimensions u listed, it would be best to only build a ported box.

I kno with the charger box I recently built, I could get 18" tall and 25inches deep and still have 5 inches of clearance from the back..

I modeled a box off of the dimensions I listed before u gave measurements.. and it would work great for a 4th order for 3 12s..

Here's the dimensions I have for the box.. 38 wide (32 wide for the bottom corners), 18 tall (if that will hit ur 6x9s, I'd suggest spacer rings). And 30 deep. I can reduce depth a couple inches if that is too deep, but 25 would doable, it'll just lower ur output some.. I'll be uploading a design in a minute so u can see..

The sealed section is 3 cuft. Ported is around 5.85 cu ft.. to determine how much port will be inside the box I will need to kno the distance from the deck lid (above) to the trunk bottom..

is that with using the rear of the woofers in the vented side? thats alot of cuft for my trunk.thats almost 9cuft i think and my trunk doesnt have that much.

maybe ill stick with your original opinion and just do ported.

The back of the woofers are in the ported section.. and as long as the srt8 has the same trunk as a regular charger, it will fit (just have to assemble in the trunk..

To determine that, I'll need to kno the distance from the trunk floor to the deck lid (give me the largest measurement since the decklid is probable slanted some..and how far above the deck lid u want the port opening to sit..

I should also clarify that the carpet was removed from the trunk floor in the setup I built.. this may be where the difference in height comes from.. if u don't mind, measure both with and without the carpet..
