welderblake21
I'm trying to figure out if I can wire my two xfl 15s dvc 4ohm in bridged mode at 4 ohm.a buddy offered to let me borrow a amp until I get mine and as of now I have the subs run 2 channel at 2 ohm , but these subs aren't even moving. So I'm wondering if this wire diagram is correct or even safe to run. I don't know how to post a picture so I'll try to explain it, it runs a wire from 1 coil negative to positive then coil 2 is positive to positive to the other sub and negative to negative on the other sub and then same a wire positive to negative and then the wire on both subs positive goes to amp and same with negative for 4 ohm bridged. That should put out more power than the 2 channel 2 ohm. Does this sound right I don't know about the whole positive to negative

welderblake21
It'll be that second link, I'm wondering if that's the right wiring diagram and if it's safe to run the 2 xfls wired like that?
MrSkippyJ
It won't get you more power. But my personal preference is the run bridged rather than stereo for subs. welderblake21
Should I just bridge it the way it's wired? What will that come out to?

welderblake21
Will that be safe to run them that way though? I don't understand why it's got the positive to negative
