Jonathan Tyler Ecton-Rodriguez
Looking to do a new build for my truck, have 2 12's in a 2-2.5 cu.ft sealed box and i don't like it as much as the ported 10's in a prefab i had. For the new box im looking to build ported, around 2cu.ft, and was going to go with 4 P2D2 8's on my Prime 1200.1 but I'm worried that .5cu ft each wont be enough per 8" woofer even if they are being overpowered a little bit. Would it be louder/better to go with a pair of 10's? I have a pair of SD-2 10's on hand already. Are there better 8's with lower volume requirements? Triticum Agricolam
I'd go with the 10"s. 8"s are for when you can't fit anything bigger.
