alibaba Posted September 17, 2016 Report Share Posted September 17, 2016 so i went out today with ampmeter n multimeter to clamp my amp to see what kind of numbers is pushing, its a taramps hd2500, i put the multimeter on the pos n neg on the amp and the clamp around my sub positive n this is the numbers i get 28.9x17.6a=508.64 is that right or am i doing something wrong? if its right then fuck i got a 250a alt, big 3 w/ 1/0 everywhere and currently only 1 xs power 5100 but still it should be pushing out more, also this was at 40hz and the gain about half way, when i went to 30hz i turned the gain up n got slightly beter numbers but not much, what do u guys think the problem is here? 06 Envoy 250a ALT 2x 2400 kinetiks USX65KV1 w/ parallel bridged mosfets 2200rms @ 1ohm @13v powering 1 Orion hcca122 Taramp HD2500 for mid range 4xPioneer 6x9's 2x 1" Pioneer tweets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
