help with first build? 15" l7 kicker

i don't really know what I'm doing other than i know i don't want to go out and buy a box, one cause there usually crap and two i need a custom one to get my speakers in my car. i currently have two 15' l7s in my 2000 accord coupe. you may ask how the hell did that fit... with determination lol i ended cutting the ported box i had in half and putting one in at a time. they were already wired so i didn't change no wiring and i have a 2500 watt hifonics to them. they sound decent but i know with a good box they would sound so much better.

also i was gonna go with a sealed enclosure seeing how theres little space, i could care less if it takes up the whole trunk(as it already does) i only use the car on fri and sat. again thank you for the help.

The ported box they're in at the moment is probably too small. Could try blocking the ports and see what it's like before going to the trouble of making a new box.

Just to see how it sounds I mean. Costs nothing to stuff a towel in the port.

Gives you and idea of what it'll be like before spending any money. A sealed box will sound different, but since I imagine the current ported box is too small it'll probably be an improvement.
