Rca Y-splitter @ Voltage

If I have a 5 volt preout for the sub amp and use a splitter to run 2 sub amps will each amp see 5 volts or 2.5?

they should see the same if you have a multi meter you can test just be careful not to touch the ends together

if you are worried test and if you need it put in a line driver

u hardly lose any voltage unless u split alot. my educated guess = 4.9 each

Thanks for all the replies, just curious because I don't have a voltage meter at the moment

At spring break nationals we found out if you daisy chain over 4 amps you will lose some signal. Hope this helps some

sounds right....thats why i run 8 volt out rca split to 8 amps
