Hey guys.. getting ready to build a wall in a 98 4 door accord for 4 sa 15s.. Question I have has to do with panel strength..

When building the sides of the wall and the back above the rear deck, is 1 sheet of mdf with 2x4s glued and screwed to the outside strong enough to keep from flexing?

your biggest prevention for flexing is going to be bracing within the box. although I believe wall density is a premium when building a box, the most important factpr is box bracing.

Ok.. so I'll go ahead and do double layer all the way around. 2x4 on the outside of the sides and back as well as internal bracing... thanks.
