Cwallaker
I'm starting my system upgrade on my 00 silverado. So fAR I'm 50% done deadening the doors . I'm usimg a pack of q pad cdl tiles , and 100% coverage of second skin damplifier, 3/8 overkill with luxury liner pro . I also have 32 sq ft of damplifier for the roof, back panel , and floor. I have an amp rack to build . I'm going all 0 gauge ofc stinger power wire. I have 50 ft of sky high audio ofc 14 gauge speaker wires for the mids ,and highs . I have 8 gauge ofc sky high wire for the 2 infinity kappa 120.9 subs. The subs will be powered by a p1000x1bd wired @ 1ohm . Front stage will be mille 1600's run off a class ab p1000x2. Going to try a set of Dayton reference 1 1/8 silk tweets , powered off a class a/b p300x2. Everything controlled off a prs80 running active . Here's a couple photo's of progress so far . Today I finished the engine bay electrical . Laying a foundation for some power . I'm running dual optima batts, a mechman e series 370 amp alt , and a gates greenstripe belt. All power and grounds are 0 gauge stinger ofc. All stinger connectors so far . There are better out there bit , they are plenty good for what I'm doing , and it let's me support our local shop. https://goo.gl/photos/VXq4duwhFFf6J1FV6 https://goo.gl/photos/G8S5r6eYWw943Nqt6 https://goo.gl/photos/BjdZQaLKsdVZbhhB9 I'll post more pix as I get shit done . At the same time I'm doing the audio , I'm also doing lots of mechanical. Just did wheel bearings , and brakes . Next week i pull the driveline for new carrier bearings , new slip yoke and u joints . WhIle that's off big done I hope the get the deadening and cab wiring done . Figure crossed , pics to follow -chris
