Someone told me that it takes up space by fiberglassing the inside...so does this mean my bass won't get as low? ya its going to take up a little room but not much. depending on how many layers you do and how thick the mat is, you could mesure the thickness of it and add that to the thickness of the wood, recalculate and then you have your answer if you wanted to be really precise. but just adding 3 or 4 layers to stregthen a box isnt gonna take up that much space and probably not make a noticable difference in sound (at least not to the ear) R.I.P.
