trying to figure out an enclosure for a buddy of mine. I think he's putting it in a suburban/tahoe cuz he mentioned removing the rear seat. I've been going over different sites and youtube for awhile and this is what I've came up with. 13.44 cu.ft with 5.5(w)x18.5(h)x15(l) slot port. I think thats tuned to 29hz. Any one out there that can correct me and explain if this is ok or way off? thanks . power is 1000w rms.

Those IX-12s won't want any more than 2 cubes each. Box too big.

their site does call for 2 sqft per sub if ported. when i runn it in winisd (beta) the response doesnt look that great. it will only hit at higher freqs. As i played with overall box dimensions the graph looked alot better with 13 cuft. its about 3.36 per sub

Cabin gain will boost the low end significantly from what WinISD shows you.

Putting subs in a box that's too big is a good way to end up buying new subs.
