Maybe next time I do a rebuild I'll go bigger and badder. I ended up grabbing myself an NVX vcw 15. I figured that would be my best bet in my price range. Recommended wattage is 850-1000, exactly where I want and the reviews are all very positive. So thread has now been hijacked to the tune of, "what enclosure design/specs would suit my needs of rock/rap/metal and acoustic. This is not exactly an sq build but I dont really care about rattling my truck apart. I just love the music and I wanna hear it like I do in concert. Other pieces of the build are pretty generic. Nxv vseries tweeters and all Sony speakers in doors and rear pillars. Mids highs are all off Sony head unit with time alignment and hpf at 80hz. Thanks. Box will be behind drivers side seat (I took the useless back bench seat out. So my max dimensions are 20"d 36"w and however tall I need to go. Would like to keep it under the rear window which is about 26"
