Or he did the 183+ with the 2 15"s and still going to be louder when he does the 2 18"s?
kryptonitewhite
So any regular good sub (L5 12) can take at least 4000 watts in a "daily" set up, at least bursts And many more can take much, much more...so far upwards of what, 40,000 watts repeatedly...even many times and still survive IB3 22"
kryptonitewhite
Why does Kicker rate the SOLOX so much different than most subs? I see a lot of daily driver solo18's being run of just 1 2500.1, and the Kicker suggestions are: vented compact 5000 watts peak vented suv 4500 watts peak sealed compact 2800 peak sealed sq 2400 peak which makes sense, till you get to the "SPL" 10,000. Any "SPL sub" takes high wattage, and in any SPL alignment it completely depends on setup. If a 12" L5 can take 4000 watt bursts in a daily setup, plenty more in an "spl alignment", why rate the soloX at some random number? kryptonitewhite
Extreme car, will HOLD the frontal pressure. Now if your talking a 'normal' daily driver, 4000 on L5 12" rated 1200 watts peak, but will take 4000 normal, more if Extreme you used to run a 12L7 off a kx2500.1 2 years ago, right? Deafdreamz
No he is keeping the 2 15's because there "built better" then the 18's he had.
