Cwallaker Posted December 28, 2016 Report Share Posted December 28, 2016 I just got 2 12in ssa xcons . I put them in my 1.45 cuft sealed boxes , and they just don't sound right . Little boomy, no real lows . I'm guessing it's the box. I have 52x16xby to 30 in to work with . I'd like help with a ported box design. 1 in thick 2 in thick baffle ample bracing of course . Each sub will be powered by a fosgate p1000x1bd . I'm thinking subs ,and port /ports up? Aaron from ssa said " 5 cubes , and 78sq in of port for a tune freq of 33 hz .
