meade916
here it is posted up outside a friends house. A friend of mine asked if i could bring the tahoe to his sons 13th birthday party and show off the slumpage and i said Ok. I also brought the 'Lade as a bonus. It was sorta her first time out in public....There was like 50 12-15 yr old kids there it ended up being like a little car show. Let almost all of them sit in the Tahoe and "turn the bass knob up till it hurts".......it was fun. meade916
heres todays work......damn i need a long ass belt. I need to special order it or something because with the supercharger in there the serpentine belt needs to be longer than anything any local store is carrying......namely a K6-1295 (if i dont use a idler pulley) or a K6-1505 (if i do use a idler pulley). Gonna take a little bit of bracket fabbing but this is how its going so far. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
thanks guys ok this seems like more of the same....but really i just put 8 hours in out in the garage running 1/0 from the front alternators all the way to the back batterys, including grounds straight from the alternator bracket. Theres now 2 1/0 runs Pos and 2 1/0 runs neg in addition to the 2 that were already running from front to rear. I spent all day under that thing on my back running these things weaving them in between, up and over all the stuff under the caddy and tying them all up nice. Not only that but they are all soldered at the ring terminal so i spent alot of time soldering while under the truck and a bunch inside the engine compartment. Notice the new grounds Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! meade916
OK, Everything is FINALLY fully functional!! Went home early from work (my real job) and got busy on the Navigation Unit. Wasnt working and was being a pain in the ass but i finally got it. Made my own brackets out of metal to get it to sit flush like this with no "can" to hold it in place. (down bottom) I also added just added a Zapco SLBU and volume knob..(better known as a bass knob:) ) It is mounted to the dash if you look close you can see it. This looks like a repeat but its not, it is a finished product fully functional and FINALLY fastened in place. They were just hanging loose for the longest time. meade916
OK here goes the latest......we had a nice fiberglass roll pan for over a year and its finally "that time".....well this thing is huge.....doesnt fit. Goes to an older caddy i guess so now its like do we finish the project and leave the bumper on or do what we gotta do to find a roll pan that fits. Well apparantly there isnt one, even FBI doesnt have one....but they will. I went over their on my lunch break and they liked the direction the caddy is goin and decided to kick me (us) down a roll pan for free. The big boss said bring it down, pull the bumper and leave it there for a few........they will measure, design, and fabricate one for it all on the house So that leads me to this new set of pictures.... Just got me a new Impact.....love it! battery rack was welded to the frame of the truck and also a few beads found their way to the steel on the tow hitch (woops) so i had a choice.....cut my welds off and sacrifice the strength of the rack or just cut the tow hitch off and leave all the welds intact..... tried to use my 4 1/2" cut off dics to remove it but all it did was throw sparks and was a pain to get a good angle so time to break the Sui-Saw out..(sawzall) Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
