BMS Posted January 27, 2017 Report Posted January 27, 2017 I was building a portable system for my job on a construction sight i have some questions? will dirt and dust wreak my bullet tweeters? Should i wrap the horn in cloth? Could i throw 2 grills on my mids or would that block a lot of sound one is the standard metal with little holes the other grill is plastic shaped like an x. Just of any one who is curious it's a 1000 watt rms amp 2 8 inch sealed back mids and 2 1 inch bullet tweeters with a 12v 16.5 amp supply/charger and a lithium battery I haven't bought yet probably 10-15 ah and 120-240 cca.

BMS Posted January 29, 2017 Author Report Posted January 29, 2017 was thinking of using sophomore to keep dust out of the bullet tweeters i figured high frequencies would travel well through it like the low density stuff like they use in shipping Not like what they use for cups.
