zaxfire69
Well I have everything running well and sounding great in my walled up Civic. Set my amp with a DMM this morning. Gotta get some vids for you guys like now..Anyway today I am gonna fill the gaps at the top and on the sides of my wall with expanding foam. I am gonna tape, spray, and tool it down smooth then paint the foam when it dries. I don't have very man gaps to fill, but should I see a little gain when I totally seal it off??? I have heard mixed results from Totally sealing gaps in walls. Gaps I do have are about a half and inch to an inch at the most. After I get done I will take some pics and stuff. kryptonitewhite
I am of the opinion 1 woofer and amp in a car that is sealed off and braced extremely well can do better than a car that leaks and flexes like a mufu with multiple subs and amps have you had it metered so you can do some before/after comparisons? zaxfire69
I have my Audiocontrol Epic 160. It has an Spl Meter in it. Doing 149 db on it around 40hz. Sealed on the Dash. Haven't had a chance to get it metered on a TL yet.
