Is all audio shutting off (door speakers and subwoofers) shutting off at the same time? Or is it just the subwoofer amp shutting off? What kind of music source is it? Ipod, cd, aux, bluetooth?

It's all audio that shuts off. I don't think it is a heat problem because it will cut out on some songs. I can play another one and it will be just fine. It is 8GA belva wire all around. That could possibly be the issue and im not too sure what the ground is connected to. Stepdad hooked it up from the battery so id have to ask. He also was in the audio scene so there isn't a lack of experience. He also went to college for wiring. I think ill buy 4GA and redo it

Probably the headunit if its cutting everything off and the door speakers are hooked up to that. I would start there.
