RainStryke Posted May 3, 2017 Report Posted May 3, 2017 Your buddy is out of his depth if he advising you that a cylinder enclosure is going to break glass. Every subwoofer has different specifications, each one requires a different amount of space for the box. You can get a ported enclosure which is generally going to help you be a lot louder than a sealed enclosure. It really depends on the subwoofer because that is not always the best application for it. With that said, we need to know a few things... like the make/model/year of the car, the subwoofer and the amplifier... as well as any electrical work you may have done or plan to do for the wiring portion of this.
