Jdavis51
Here’s a better picture of the box we needed up fiberglassing the whole thing because I was having issues with the baffle leaking at the top and added 2 steel supports on the inside
Jdavis51
Got some goodies to install the amp for mids and highs. I used digital designs d series 6.5 speakers components up front coaxials in the rear. Feels good to have door speakers all the way around since my oems have been blown for a long time. To power them I got a DD D4.90 using 4awg for the amp and 14awg for the speakers. I also put some Noico deadener I’m hoping to upgrade to second skin in the future but the work I do is slow in the winter so that’ll have to wait.the amp will be moved and mounted somewhere better eventually but I haven’t thought of a good amp rack design because I’m working with such a small space. Jdavis51
If you look at the amp in the second picture of the box I put up you can see the dual inputs I put in. I put my 3100 and 950 in the tool box and ran the power straight to one of the dual inputs. After doing all this I started having massive voltage issues. I bought the 3100 used about 3 months ago and was working on electrical at the time and then the truck was apart for 5 weeks well after everything came back together the 3100 rest at 11 volts so lesson learned on used batteries. And here’s how tight it is back there. With the 3100 I was down to a lower score than before at a low 146 I’m hoping to increase now without it because I’ve done so much since I’ve gotten my previous high of 147 I’m gonna do some testing Thursday with some ideas I have and I’ll update you guys then

Jdavis51
Finally got everything done for now.... 4 tezla audio 2.0 15s on 2 tezla 4ks at .5 this is the only company I’ve seen advertise a .5 ohm stable amp and my electrical isn’t the best but they’ve only got hot to the touch once (never turned off or protected) but the difference between this setup and my last is night and day I can’t wait to beef up my electrical and get it on the meter
