Ohm Load Check With Multimeter

How would i check my woofers ohm load using a digital multimeter? subs a dual 1 ohm.

with a multi meeter, set the meeter to the seting that has the ohm symbol, and put the test leads in their proper place (if not built in) and put the red lead on the pos and black lead on the neg, the meeter should show the ohm load for the sub, if you have nothing on one coil check the other and if you have a reading then you know one coil is bad,
