alpine type x enclosure

hi all... I just bought an alpine type x 1242d sub and I have came up with a box I want to hear thoughts and recommendations .. how much space will allthread 3/8 rod take up? it wont displace much and my tuning my go a little lower than what I figured when I add it but not much. I am attaching the torres calc picture and a box drawing. the port is 3-3.6 inches away from inside wall and 3" outside box. ports fire thru bottom of box. . I'm using 4" pvc pipe. will this be oK? the pic is of the bottom of enclosure. it sits on the back seat of my 08 Silverado. I have a skar rp2000.1 and will be running @ 2ohm for around 1400

I said lower my tuning bc the allthread may not take up .08 of space

That will actually raise tuning since the box volume will be lower, but it would be negligible. You are on the small side for port area. ideally you would be at a minimum of 29 sq. in.
