But I know how to tune a custom box and I have my outside dimensions for my 2) re SE15 d4’s but I need to know. What do I actually tune my box to??? On RE’s website it says 34hz and I have a design drawn up for a 34hz box. But would it be bad to go with around 27 or so? It’s going in an old suburban and will be running them off a CT Sounds AT1400.1. Outside dimensions will be 48x24x17. All 3/4” mdf and will have the subs firing up with port firing back. There isn't one "best" tuning frequency that is optimal for all situations.
