YellowB Posted April 27, 2018 Report Posted April 27, 2018 Hey guys looking some serious help on a box's for 2 soundqubed hdc310 I build 2 box the first one dimensions is H-11"xW-48"xD-17" port is H9.5"xW-4"xL-43 said to be tuned around 27 Hz had a nice drive but was tune to low so I build. Next one dimensions was H-11"xW-50"xD-17" port is H-9.5"xW-5"xL-30.5" said to be tune at 33Hz this one had a cleaner an deeper drive to me which I like but I had to increase the the gains, both box had double baffle. Am trying to get the most sql out of them. Dimensions area I have is H-11"xW-55"xD-18".
ckeeler11 Posted April 27, 2018 Report Posted April 27, 2018 The box is a little on the small size. Ideally you would be closer to 3.25 cu ft. net. right now you are at 2.5 cu. ft. tuning is going to be around 36 on your current box as well. Increasing box size will give you more output. Should be no need to change gain setting unless you switched headunit. The gain is not a volume knob.
YellowB Posted April 27, 2018 Author Report Posted April 27, 2018 OK so u would recommend I go the full dimensions of H-11 I can't go no higher W-55 can't go no wider D-17" I could go 18" may be 19" the most. Can't get to upload the pic wise I would of post them.
