anton1117
I have 3 - Alpine SWR 12D2's - with cracked up dust caps/covers. I bought new dust caps/covers for them. I need to know how to glue the new caps over the top of the 'current' cracked ones - or safely removed the cracked up dust caps - and replace them with the new ones I have. Can you let me know how this is done, or post a link to a video showing it? Thanks!!!

anton1117
Thanks - but these aren't regular 'fiber' dust caps. This is for a large automotive subwoofer - with a hard plastic dust cover - that covers the entire cone - as pictured. My understanding - is that you might be able to glue the new one on - completely covering the old one.
GorillaFIngeRs
The typer is all dust cap haha. I would heat up the edges of dustcap and slowly and carefully pull it off then glue new one in place. anton1117
I think that's what I'm going to try to do. Thanks. I had read that I might be able to glue the new one *over the top of* the cracked-up current one.
