DTS909
Going in a 2013 Accord firing thought the back seat arm rest. Subs are 2 DD 6.5 506. Running off a Audiocontrol Epicenter 1200 @4 ohm at 400 watts. Max dimensions W 30, Top D 11, Bottom D 16, H 13. Port has to be 5" from the bottom center angle side. Round or square port doesn't matter. I came up with 2.3 net vol for the box. mestapho
Something like this? didn’t do any measurements. Just wanted to try and draw it. Thinking about making a 4th order for the experience with a couple of 8’s. Just eyeballing my sketch I’d say the ported to sealed ratio needs to increase 50%
DTS909
Something like that. I can fit a 6"X 6" square port and it can extend out 4"-5". With the port top to bottom the hold down arm rest would block it about 5". Top to bottom would be better for bracing. Just want to get all the sound in the cab. IME you'll be louder rear facing port and the design is much easier with the port not on the angled face.
