I was going to get one sa-15 (750 rms) but then I saw that for around the same money I could get two CT Tropo 18s (600 rms). I don't know much about Ct sounds, I have the old Sun Down e15 and its held together great and I trust Sundown. My current amp is a PPI it dyno certified @ 1162 and it's going in a Taho so I have room for the 18's. So I guess it comes down to Watts, x mas or more cone? DirtyDuzit Posted October 10, 2018 Report Share Posted October 10, 2018 2 18's will obviously be way louder. Those tropo 18's actually have a 3" coil as well compared to the 2.5 on the SA. Doesn't necessarily mean it can handle more but a good indication that they can take 1000rms. I've got two of those tropo 18's right now they'll be installed in my truck tomorrow or thursday I'll let you know how they handle on a skar RP 2000.1D @ .5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
