Bret
I’m adding a second alternator. At first I was going to delete the ac and drop it in there, but am concerned my defrost won’t work and it already kind of sucks in this car. I’m rerouting the trans cooler lines to the radiatior now so I can put the alt up near the radiator on the passenger side. This will give me a somewhat straight shot over to the power steering pump where I can make a double pulley and run a second belt over to the alt. The double pulley would have to have a smaller diameter pulley on the side that drives the alternator, in order for the belt to clear some shit in the way. On the double pulley - Obviously one Rotation of the big pulley will equal one rotation of the small pulley so I guess the small pulley will have the same ratio as the big one which probably won’t work for running an alternator. I can’t wrap my head around this problem.
Bret
https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/pulley-diameters-speeds-d_1620.html found this. I can figure out if this will work now. Disregard my question.
