well i have a 97 maxima and everyone has this gen around my area so im ging to add lambo doors this summer to be different..who installed them and should i try doing it to myself? I seen a direct bolt on kit on ebay for 460 shipped...

i wouldnt do it yourself, i seen a kid in town with a acura and had done his own kit,... what a joke lol he also said it was a ebay kit for like 600 and he did per instructions , now his doors dont match the body lines, and the lil strut things wont hold the door up like its supposed to, just a shiity deal lol great idea but alot involved in doing it rite and alot to mess up if you fail

I only have experiance with mustangs, they say it bolts on, but will you need to grind or remove anything to mount it? Quality is a lot on these kits also seen after awhile sock or dual shocks can break. If u want it do it but the install ain't always a bolt on....

Ya things don't always seem to line up afterwords, aswell u have to extend all the wires to the door. Heck I have seen a kit come with no instructions. Said only to be installed by a professional.
