BILLY1978
I bought a 2019 Toyota Vios and want to maintain most of my trunk space and was wondering which method would give me the lowest bass and keep my space. I was thinking a sealed down firing box to get the lows I want but the idea of ported sounds good. There are vent holes in the back where the window meets the metal, i was considering cutting through the material above the lid to let the bass through the holes into the cabin. Is it better to do up firing box and cut that material to hear it better, I will sound deaden the whole trunk to prevent a bad rattle but too many people swear it sounds better rear firing rear port. Need a better answer. Thinking sealed to 1 cube after displacement and proper power with the eq set properly. Someone give me some ideas. Billy. ckeeler11
Fire towards rear of vehicle in a trunk car is usually the best option. firing up is the worst since you will vibrate everything to shit. can face forward if you seal the subs off from the trunk.
