It might be the back deck cover or the taillight hitting your window back there. Thats where I was getting the most rattle from on the deck. Good luck getting that cover off. I broke part of mine being in a rush.

Yea Chevy you might be overdoing it for 350w lol. Nothing wrong with having extra tho! And I think the 1800 might fit under the hood. The 2400 wasn't going tho...

yeah i'm not sure i need a 2cd battery hahaha. but i'll look into a nice kinetik replacement, thanks chevy!

slim: yeah i took it out once before to mount those new Alpine rear speakers ... it is a bitch it really is .. but it might be worth it.

it's not the brake light that was my 1st concern! i held it down real firm and it still vibrated. .. i actually think its the entire deck hitting the metal sheet metal portion of the rear deck ... that means i gotta dynamat the cloth portion .. ugh ... dont wana take it out again!!

i'm getting alarm next tho ... i know this is off topic SORRY but anyone know how much a remote start alarm costs installed, about?

thx!!!

Looking good man. When you figure out which Kinetik you want let me know. We can probably get one for you for the same price as the internet locally let me know. Oh definately do the big three and upgrade the battery over just buying a bigger alt. Especially on a 350 Watt system. If your gonna run the 2400 or multiple batteries then yeah upgrade the alt.

oh yeah? i'm located in Los Altos CA and am willing to drive at least 1-2 hours .... what kind of a deal can you do for me? whichever kinetik you and chevy and stuff thing is best ... I know close to nothing in the electrical area.

edit: thanks for the props guys! its a messy 1st system that's always improving but sounds pretty good IMHO.

Yeah its always cool seeing someone jumping in for their first tiem and trying to do this stuff on their own. Especially when there not afraid to ask questions and is able to weigh in good advice.

Measure your battery out and then check the Kinetik page for the battery dimensiions that come close to your battery. You can probably be 1-3 cubic inches bigger or smaller than your stock to fit there.

mine did the same thing but it was the brake light cover and i had the sun shade that pulls out of the rear deck it was that i wedge some dynamat between that and the deck and it sounds much better
