CUT BUDDY
he has the dual 1.4 ohm cause when he had the mt's he had .7 and he said he was changing his impedence. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...g24416#msg24416 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...g11736#msg11736 Yea I did have that wrong, but he still told me that the amp would have to be modded. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...x.php?action=pm Quote TEAM MechMan Alternators

CUT BUDDY
so what are the 1.4ohm ones, the dual 2ohm? It says 1.5 ohm on their site Quote TEAM MechMan Alternators
CUT BUDDY
i run T4000.1bd's not bd1500's anymore .7 would work if your amp was modded but its a risky thing to do. RF looks down on modding the amps and its not cheap to repair one if it blows. Thats all i can really say about it Quote TEAM MechMan Alternators
ChevyBoy
ok. the dual 1 ohm is .7 and the dual 2 ohm is 1.4 for the btl's. i dont believe his amps are modded, but i could be wrong.
CUT BUDDY
know steve they probably are. That guy is noholds bar when it comes to systems. I think Imma just play it safe and get the MM3000.1Ds (2300x1@2ohm or 3000x1@1ohm). Get the dual 1ohm BTLs and run them on a MM each series'd up to 1.4ohms. The guy from tech support said I should get around 2600-2800rms out of it at that ohm at regular voltage. And bang dem subs like nobody's bizz. ChevyBoy
what about the title of this thread though, impedence rise? .7 will rise.
CUT BUDDY
so what ur saying is it will still see a 1ohm load even though the coils are .7? Quote TEAM MechMan Alternators
ChevyBoy
possibly. i believe. ask some1 else to make sure, but it might even wind up seeing higher than 1.
