I just bought my girlfriends kid a 8 gb nano and was gonna put all my music on it and send it to him.. But i have quite a bit of language in alot of my playlists.. So my q is, whats the easiest way to sync it but an edited playlist.. I have about 1500 tunes and probably want to get rid of about 200 or so .. Hope this makes sense? :mellow:

you uncheck the ones you don't want synced

If they plug it into their computer and the songs you have on there aren't in their library i'm pretty sure it deletes them off the ipod or something like that. Or I could just be talking out of my ass :) lol

When you plug it into another computer it will ask if you want to sync just hit no and it will charge. If you hit yes then it will take all the songs off the ipod. Also you cant play the songs on the ipod on the new computer. Might be a way to but i have not found it yet.

You just gotta put the ipod in manual mode. On the Ipod "status" screen in itunes, click "manual manage music for this ipod" or something like that. You can delete songs you dont want manually, and I think you can play it on other computers too.
