Bdsankey
What size speaker wire do I need for ~100w RMS with some headroom to grow later, 10ga? I'm currently looking at going to 10ga OFC in my front doors to support my new speakers. The run will maybe reach 10ft-15ft once it is fully routed. SkarredSierra
10 gauge ofc is overkill imo. Some solid ofc 12 gauge should be fine and alot easier to run into the doors.

If he grows to 1000+ wts, 10 gauge might not be a bad idea 😉

Then even 16 gage would probably be fine. I'd probably go with 12 though. I run 12 on everything but my subwoofer (s) but 4 gage for that.
