Single 18 inch sub

Looking at getting another system since I sold my old one with previous car. I'm thinking of going with a single 18 something around 1500 to 2000 rms looking for ideas on sub and box design don't wanna spend to much on sub was looking at sundown soundqubed and skar audio any suggestions would be great thanks

Not sure if you're still in the market for a sub.  I went with Dayton Audio Ultimax 18 subs, 2 of them on 2k and it is loud and I'm tuned at 22hz.  One 18 on that power will give you flexibility on the box design.
