Fastxb13r
I’m new to the lithium battery gang so I apologize for my lack of knowledge in advance. I recently built a 98ah headway bank for my system but have heard mixed reviews about running an isolator. I was hoping not to run one as it’s just more things to deal with and also fail possibly. But my question is since the headways float at 13.4 or so voltage and the under hood starting battery floats at lower voltage I know it will steal power when sitting unless I put a battery kill switch on. I am wondering is there an under hood starting battery that rests at 13.3 or more that I can use in order to stop the parasitic draw from floating different voltages? thank you in advance
jmanjr82
Most would recommend you ditch the underhood battery and just run the headway. I have run mine with an xs power under the hood no problems.
