David
bottoming out is when the coil hits the bottom of pole, lots a reasons that can happen. it will make noise when this happens, if it continues to happen it will kill the sub. Mr. 973808
Well I do notice that if I turn the volume too much it will make a "knockin" sound like the sub wants to blow but the only sound I hear is if something is hittin the dustcap inside the sub or the tinsel lead smackin against the cone which is obvious but nothin other than that. As for the smell that only comes from the box when I playin something that beats really hard. Quote THE GRADUATE 10:18:2007
