byron2817 Posted May 29, 2008 Report Share Posted May 29, 2008 well two of m friends battle to see who was louder.one guy has a 98 Tahoe with the 12 L5 on a punch 45 amp and other has 91 Izusu Amigo with a 12 type R on a soundstream 600watt.both subs are in a 2.8cube box tuned at 32hertz.so they started bumping and the Tahoe was way louder than the amigo with more watts.and the tahoe sounded better. i want to know why did the L5 sounded better with less watts?
