yea but butt connectors are more reliable than just tape.

i did butt connectors once......

and in my experience, tape is much better

i can understand why you say that, but in my personal experience, ill use my tape lol

i learned that one.... lol, ive had my share of boo boo's

and currently i have no dash kit yet, so its like, i found a way so that my head unit wont budge lol, but i missed my bass so much!!!!! the shop said the could get in by 2morrow, but i couldnt wait

then either you didnt crimp them right, or........

i just dont see how you can say tape is better.

x2 I'll stick with tape for head unit installs

I was reading that solder, and butt connectors make a worse connection than just wires twisted together, the solder and connectors create more resistance.
