Do You Believe In Sub "break In" Time

this reminds me of some fool who posted about a month ago on another forum who said that he plugged his sub into a wall socket to loosen the suspension and break them in..damn fool fried his shit..lol

For SPL often a sub is loudest right after a fresh recones.

SQ-wise, and for low frequencies, I think a sub does change (for the better) after a bit of running but I wouldn't say the difference is black and white. It's just a slightly different shade of grey.

That said I don't baby new subs, they go in the box and get full bore from the word go.
